Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games, released for PlayStation 4 on October 26, 2018. Serving as a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption, it follows Arthur Morgan, an outlaw and senior member of the Van der Linde gang, during the final years of the American Wild West in 1899.
The PS4 version offers the full single-player story mode and an online multiplayer component known as Red Dead Online. Players explore a vast, detailed world that includes mountains, plains, towns, and swamps, with activities ranging from main missions and side quests to hunting, fishing, and crafting.
