LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is an action-adventure game available on PlayStation 4, developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Released for PS4 on January 26, 2016, the game continues the popular tradition of LEGO adaptations that blend family-friendly gameplay with well-known movie franchises. The story in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers focuses primarily on the events from the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies The Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), but it also features levels inspired by Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The game uses audio and dialogue from the films, giving players the chance to relive iconic moments with added LEGO humor and slapstick comedy. Gameplay on PS4 includes classic LEGO mechanics such as collecting studs, solving puzzles, and engaging in brawler-style combat.
