The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is back tomorrow for its second weekend, giving players a new way to find matches and more variety in gameplay. After a short break following Weekend 1, Electronic Arts has rolled out changes based on player feedback, which they detailed in a recent blog post.
The biggest update is the addition of the Custom Search feature. While it’s not a full server browser, it lets players choose specific maps and modes—like Conquest on Siege of Ciaro—and matchmaking will connect them if available. This option will be available in the Open Weapon mode playlists during the second beta weekend.
A full server browser is not part of the beta yet, but EA and DICE have acknowledged how much the community wants it, even asking players on social media why it’s important.
